Literatura organowa w służbie liturgii posoborowej

Abstrakt:

The author at work The organ literature in the service of post-conciliar liturgy introduced the place and role of organ literature in the liturgy of the Catholic Church after the Second Vatican Council. This reflection began with presenting the teaching of the Church contained in documents relating to organ music in the liturgy.
The second chapter contains a historical overview of training church musicians in Poland since the introduction of organs in the church until the present day. Also contained here are the rules of selecting repertoire for the liturgy of the liturgical texts and periods of the Church year. Described here is the role and place of the organ improvisation in the Mass.
The third chapter is a set of selected organ works from different periods (ages) on specific days of the liturgical year, which is the personal choice of the author. It is adapted to the various technical capabilities of potential organists, raging from secondary schools of music all the way up to the graduates of the Academy of Music.
