Origins of the family catechesis in teachings of John Paul II

Abstrakt:

Every family is an important educational factor. As a source of new life, it is the natural and the best environment, in which a human being can develop. A success of family education is influenced by a nature and intensity of the relationships between the parents and children, by their personal behaviour in everyday life. Daily behavioural routines and relationships among the members of a family lead to strengthening of certain habits, which the children then transfer into their own families once they grow up. The objective of the submitted paper is to perceive the teachings of John Paul II about families as the primary means for the formation of children, as well as their parents. The focus is on the encyclics Familiaris consortio, which was and still is the pinnacle of his philosophy of the origins of a partnership and family, and their rights and duties.
