The orthodox anthropology created the dynamic and integral image of the man. The man isn’t in it shown as getting to know the mind-subject of classical philosophy, and as body-spirituals whole. Gregory Palamas’ discourse of the energy is describing the all signs of activity of the man – passions of the soul, the activity of the mind and the aspiration to God. In the face of the crisis of contemporary philosophy the Palamas’ learning is an interesting and valuable proposal for the concept.
