Życie dialogiczne w ujęciu Martina Bubera

Abstrakt:

The notion of dialogue is a philosophical concept addressed on hundreds of thousands of pages, but it continues to give rise to many different interpretations. The pages written by Buber on that subject certainly are not conducive to greater precision of definition. However, the specific formulation of the problem by the thinker allows a slightly different look at the dialogue and perception of its impact on human life.
Martin Buber’s anthropology reveals man as a being who somehow always relates to reality. A man may treat it as an object, or may enter into a relationship with the reality. Only the latter attitude can help a man actualize their nature, as only through the relation does a man become a person. Buber expands the scope of entities eligible for relationship with man. Actually, all of creation is potential partner for such relationship. Thanks to such an approach, Buber can present life as a constant, ongoing dialogue. In this case, God is the initiator and life is the answer – not any life, however, but life in a relationship. That way, human life becomes an incessant answer for the Creator – it becomes a dialogical life.
