The main thesis of the paper is that religious faith is not a kind of belief, but rather a kind of decision, an act. Therefore agnosticism is not an approach towards faith possible to be taken. It is argued that according to overall epistemic standards, agnosticism is a common ground for both rational faith and rational atheism. The option we shall make is a matter to decide, not to deduce.
