The article contains a critical edition of the fragment B 8, 51-61 of Parmenides, based on the Diels-Kranz’s edition of the Poem. For this purpose I analyze precisely verse by verse the original text. The order of my article is following: first, I present a genuine fragment of the Poem with a Polish translation and a shortened apparatus; next, I add my commentary. I show that the second part of the Poem has no essential value (falsity) from the ontological point of view, but it has a certain value (verisimilitude) from the cosmological point of view.
