Siemona L. Franka wersja intuicjonizmu

Abstrakt:

This article is an introduction to the translation of the seventh chapter of 'The Object of Knowledge' into Polish. This book was Frank's Master's thesis and it was first published in 1915. In his work the philosopher takes up a problem of the ontological foundations of epistemology. According to the author of 'The Object of Knowledge', abstract knowledge is expressed through some concepts. In this sense both rational and empirical knowledge are abstract knowledge. This kind of knowledge is derivative; it is possible on the basis of the 'intuition of all-unity'. The idea of all-unity plays a prominent role in the Russian thought. A chapter entitled 'The first qualification and the nature of intuition' explains the logical nature of the intuition of all-unity. Apparently, the concept of updating intuition is crucial to Frank's solution.
