Health insurance is compulsory for all students of the Pontifical Univeristy of John Paul II in Cracow. Students from European Union member states whose health expenses are cowered in their own country must be able to submit the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). These are issued by the health insurance authorities of the students' home countries. This card provides you with the same health insurance rights and benefits as Polish citizens.
